@Karthik In all honesty I'm not sure. I know that the ESX 3.5 upgrade was a pretty big change in the 3.0 line, and with vSphere I haven't had to use VMWare converter for anything. vSphere ESXi might be able to run the appliance natively, check out the FAQ all the way at the bottom: http://www.vmware.com/products/esxi/uses.html

I tried VMWare Converter, but it did not work due to some hard disk issue. Any other suggestions?

When I replaced one nic it had a problem assigning to the eth0/eth1 the correct nic.
Although it recognized it correctly.
And I did not found it how to delete the reference to the old nic.

"Zend Framework is complex and hard to use to programmers that are lazy and can’t be bothered to actually learn what is going on with the tools that they are using"

I disagree. While there are many out there that need to RTFM there are plenty of others who have spent time reading through what they can find online and still having questions. 'Old' PHP is riding a bike. Doesn't take much effort to get on it and go. Using Zend Framework is more like driving a car. There's a much higher level of involvement required to operate it.
